I have just written a Facebook message to Caroline Ellis (who played "Joy" the pink butterfly in Sid & Marty Krofft's "The Bugaloos" back in 1970) & she said: Hi Matthew. I loved the Carpenters music. Still do, in fact yesterday I was playing their album while doing jobs round the house. Karen had a unique voice. So perfect. I would not of been good enough although I was always doing musicals on stage when I was younger. Louisa in "The Sound Of Music" in London "Oh Kay", London and tour. Others as well.
