Carpenters SACD release delayed

Tower records now states January 11th, 2005 as the release date for the SACD release of "The singles" collection.

I guess good things come for those who wait. (That RC Christmas LP should be amazing!)

Amazon has said that for awhile now. I think tower is just now updating their records. I was in Barnes & Noble today and saw the Carpenters Christmas Collection CD for $24.99 and Special Edition Christmas Portrait Cd both proudly displayed with all the top selling Holiday CD's

Can't wait for the Singles to come out in Jan even though I don't really have the correct player, I didn't get the non sacd singles cd so I'll finally get this for my collection.

I'm curious what Richard will pick for the Christmas cover of his new album. Will it be just Richard or Karen & Richard displayed? Will Karen's voice even grace this album? I hope at least one track.
