Could Herb Alpert sign with A&M?

Wouldn't it be amazing if Herb Alpert signed on with the new A&M Records as a regular artist? Certainly a possiblity!!!

What "new" A&M Records? The company doesn't exist any more, and its logo is getting less and less use by its owner (Universal).

I say "new" as it is obviously a different ownership, etc.- but there is still that little trumpet logo.....

The A&M logo is prominently displayed on the back of ELEPHUNK by The Black Eyed Peas. At least as prominently as possible on the back of a CD.

I think I see what Steven is aiming at here. I mean, with Sergio's return to A&M, it would be interesting to see Herb and Lani do the same. However, with all that's gone down in the last several years, I strongly doubt this will happen. Then again, stranger things have happened!
