Songwriter Gerry Goffin (who worked with former wife Carole King) has died of natural causes at 75 years old. The team wrote songs like "I'm Into Something Good" (Herman's Hermits & Earl Jean), "Hi-De Ho" (Blood, Sweat & Tears), "The Loco-Motion" (Little Eva, later done by Grand Funk & Kylie Minogue) & "Go Away Little Girl" (Steve Lawrence, later done by Donny Osmond).
