If I'm not mistaken, wasn't Jimmie Rodgers (the one who recorded for A&M) born 70 years ago, on THIS DAY, September 18, 1933??!!

Well, from the way I hear his music playing from downstairs, I believe Today is the day!

Yes, 9-18-33 is Jimmie Rodgers' birthday. As far as I know, he's still in Branson, MO, doing his show. Perhaps either his wife or son, both of whom have visited this site before, will see your message.
Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for A&M/UNI to reissue his 3 albums and non-album singles as bonus tracks; a 2-disc package would be good.
