Instrumental during Richard's car race segment?

I've been wondering for so long now what the title is of this great funky instrumental tune that is played during Richard's racing segment in the Carpenters' appearance on a Dorothy Hamill TV special in early 1977.

Hopefully some of you know which tune I'm trying to find.
Does anyone know the title of it?
