Karen's Crypt at Forest Lawns - January 2004

How sad is it to see the way the crypt at Forest Lawns looks now, especially seeing the little Mickey Mouse dolls sat in the flower vases at the left and right of the sarcophagus

Isn't it a bit excessively morbid to talk about someone's burial place here? I understand that many, many people were moved and pained by Karen's death, but I still think that we should let what's buried stay that way and move on by remembering the legacy these people left in their music instead.

Forgive me, but the main motivation for posting this was that people are obviously still turning up to pay their respects (hence the Mickey Mouse figures) - I for one know if I'd travelled from the UK (as I have done twice before) to visit Forest Lawns, I would be devastated to find what's pictured here.
