I've been catching up on some old issues of Variety for my film related job, and in an issue from a few weeks ago there's a really sweet remembrance of Milt Olin, longtime attorney for A&M. Milt died unexpectedly a few weeks ago. The remembrance talks about what A&M was like in the "glory days", when quarterly reports didn't matter as long as the artist roster was good. Unfortunately, the article doesn't seem to be archived on Variety.com (at least I couldn't find it).
