Been spinning a few relics tonight from all corners. Started of with our SOTW pick, both sides, unfortunately gritting my teeth hearing the scuff on the A-side of "Strawberry Letter #23".

Since this TT needs a belt change for speeds, I stuck with a few 45RPM 12" titles before switching:

• Frankie Goes To Hollywood: Two Tribes (Annihilation)
• Joe Jackson: Right and Wrong b/w live versions of Breaking Us In Two and I'm The Man
• Prince: Let's Go Crazy (extended version)
• Earth Wind & Fire: Getaway (don't be hatin' JH! )

Back at 33-1/3:

• Philip Bailey: I Know (double A-side promo 12", George Duke production on this one, great sounding disc)
• Chic: Le Freak
• Chicago: Street Player

Surprisingly, I never did hear it very often on local radio, despite having a good local radio station that played similar music (and, ironically, a lot of EW&F). I never did grab the album Continuation when it was originally released, either.
