This is a cool little album. Nice arrangements by Q with tasty solos by various members. Q had just finished a stint with Count Basie when he recorded these sides. Jimmy Cleveland shines on a few tracks, namely "Caravan" and "Chant Of The Weed" (which unfortunately has a skip on my LP). Phil Woods plays a gorgeous solo on "I Never Has Seen Snow", as does Jerome Richardson on flute on "Eesom". Lee Morgan does a blazing solo on "Air Mail Special" as well. I'd like to get this on CD but since it's out of print it goes for some ridiculous money.
