RC as Sex Symbol

Hi all

I'm new to this forum and have found it fascinating. Been a Carpenters fan for some 25 years and my admiration has never waned.

I was reading an old pop magazine some time ago (British I think), where Richard was included as a 'pin-up'. This was I think from 1973, along with the likes of David Cassidy/Donny Osmond etc.

Does anyone have thoughts on this? Personally, I have always found Richard sexy, particularly in pictures from around 1980/81 ...

My favourite photo of Richard is on the album cover of 'Close To You'.

Richard has said that he doesn't care for it, but I think the photo makes him look a real hunk.

Thanks for the reply! Those very broad shoulders! The pictures from the Made in America photo sessions are great and I also like RC on the cover of Horizon and the inner sleeve of A Kind of Hush.
