SACD Case Sticker

Hi all...

I just got my SACD in the mail and the first thing I noticed was the 2 errors on the promotional sticker. First, to my knowledge, the Carpenters only had 12 top ten hits not 13 as stated on the sticker...and since when did "Yesterday Once More" or "Only Yesterday" become just "Yesterday"!!!

Heh! Didn't notice the sticker saying "Yesterday". Maybe McCartney will try to hijack some more money from the sale of this album!

As for the number of top ten hits, they're probably counting "Merry Christmas, Darling" among them. I don't have figures on that one, but I remember it being a huge hit at the time, and I think Billboard handles Christmas songs differently these days.

Hi Harry..

If memory serves me right, when MCD was released, Billboard charted those singles differently on their own chart. So, if you are going to count that as part of the total top 10 hits, why not add the top then hits from the Adult Contemporay Chart as well.
