He was in the Philippines for shows on Oct 4 & 5. Anyone know who went with him and how the concerts went. Perhaps we can petition A&M to come up with a DVD recording featuring his great hits from the 60s onwards. Lastly is he coming back to San Francisco this year? Last year's show at Bimbo's was super terrific.

Gosh, Darius...I certainly hope he comes back soon! By this time, he's usually played the Bay Area at least once or twice; sometimes three times. You know, he didn't play New York for years, but played the Blue Note last November and did a concert for the Filipino Cultural Center earlier this year. He's played Florida, Atlanta, Seattle, Spokane, Austin...everywhere but the Bay Area! Drat the luck!!
Oh well, at least we have something to look forward to, yes? I bet once he gets back from these Eastern dates, he'll be back to his old stomping grounds (San Francisco) and give us one heck of a show. I look forward to it!
