I don't think their debut EP for IRS has ever been on CD. I'm guessing "Only A Lad" is the LP version recorded later.

That is correct. And, the "also available" notation is no longer valid. Their three A&M albums are no longer available and go for a hefty premium on the secondary market. Even the vinyl is pricey (especially the I.R.S. ep)

I have been wanting to get another EP since mine got a little bit of groove burn from using older cartridges on it. I'm just afraid anything I buy will be even worse.
