Just wondering if anyone here ever bought The Carpenters' Universal 20th Century Masters Collection.

The inclusion of "I Believe You" and a certain song better done by Anne Murray, as well as the lack of "Close To You" and even "Sing" are what discourage me from buying a copy.

I bought it new, but only because it was so cheap that I just couldn't resist (C$7.99 at Wal-Mart).

This was yet another compilation that I was on the fence about buying. The main reason I wanted it was to finally hear Love is Surrender in remix form.

But I wanted Treasures MORE for other remixes that I didn't have either such as I can't make music & Crystal Lullaby (punch out fixed) Maybe it's You.

So Treasures (Japan) had more on it for the money. I am really happy to finally have Treasures before it's out of print.

Of course not to say I won't finally add 20th Century Masters to my collection...."one fine day".
