I do notice that at the beginning of "Walk, Don't Run" there is that half-second sound that was on the mono version of this album. Nice photos inside as well. I still need to do the headphone thing with these albums.

Cool! That means the other version probably came from a production master that was damaged.
I would be curious to see if Beat Of The Brass has the dropouts fixed in the opening of "Monday, Monday": those were there on the original LP. Strange that it took me until the CD era to notice the dropouts on an album I'd listened to since it first came out!
