Saw the induction ceromonies for the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame last night on VH-1, and the Police were the last ones inducted. They played two songs - an interesting version of "Roxanne", plus the inevitable "Every Breath You Take", where people like Steven Tyler and Gwen Stefani joined in on vocals. Sting said this was the first time in 18 years that they've performed together. He also thanked a few people, including Herb, Jerry, Gil Friesen and A&M as a whole.
They still sounded great. It's too bad they can't get along with each other, although it would probably be hard to top their Synchronicity album. Still, it was good to hear them again.
