this fall,trumpeter chris botti(who sounds a lot like a cross between herb and miles)released an album called a thousand kisses deep.one of the cuts on the album is called "the last three minutes",and it is written by burt bacharach,and(believe it or not)andre young aka...DR DRE!!!yes THAT dr. dre of hiphop/rap fame;eminem's mentor,etc.i could not believe it!! how did these two hook up? i know quincy jones knows the both of them,so that may be a clue.the song is absolutely great,very moody,very much stronger than the typical"smooth jazz" stuff,something that sounds like it came off of tutu,or colors.
