Another holiday favorite around our house is Henry Mancini's album A Merry Mancini Christmas, which has been around since the late 60's. Its original LP cover featured the Mancini family singing around the piano, but the 70's-era reissue featured a colored "snowflake" cover. This CD was recently remastered and reissued as Greatest Christmas Songs. The improved sound is worth buying the new version, but purists may note that the track arrangement has been changed for the reissue. This new version, however, includes the song "Snowfall", which dates back to the Mancini Touch album...this version of "Snowfall" is a very warm, "fluttery snowflake" version, which fits in well with the rest of the album. There are three additional tracks not on the original album. Tracks:
