I loved this show ( the original version from the 70s) I know they revived it in 1999 but to me it wasn't really the same although some of the original elements were there but I didn't know until now that there was a soundtrack album to it I wish I would have known back then I would have had it in my early record collection

I wasn't much of a TV watcher as a kid, other than what my parents used to watch in the evenings. So I don't even know if this aired in our part of the country or not.

Although somewhere, I have an LP of the PBS show The Electric Company. And the two 45 RPM records of The Banana Splits--I never watched the show, but played the records often.
