A recent posting on the best Harry Nilsson blog out there, For the Love of Harry, tells in great detail about the super-rare 45 A&M 729, Dore Alpert's "I'd Do It All Again." The song was written by Scott Turner and Nilsson, and, in otherwise unreleased audio exclusive to that site, Mr. Turner tells the story of the record in his own words, revealing in the process that the vocals heard on it are not a double-tracked Herb but in fact Herb and Harry harmonizing. Fascinating!

Herb can also be heard on a few tracks on Nilsson's Hollywood Dreamer CD, a compilation of early Nilsson recordings.
