Alpert - topic of Glen Beck radio show

Radio talk show host Glen Beck has been making Herb Alpert & The TJB a sidebar for over a year now. About a week or three ago, he had a running gag on the show about other things the USA should spend money on than the immigration bill. One of the vignettes gave the option of "having a 35 minute reunion concert of Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass." I thought he was just making a joke, but a caller phoned in and said she saw Herb with a band on Leno during that week, plugging REWHIPPED and "Love Potion #9." She said it actually happened...did it?

PS-Beck confessed that he's really a closet TJB fan and just adores the music.

My wife called me in Bahrain to tell me about the Glenn Beck TJB bit. She said she was laughing hysterically and thought I'd love it. Some lady also called to say she's been in love with Herb since she was a teenager. I couldn't help but think she was one fo our female regulars here.

Great plug for the new Re-Whipped. Apparently, according to my wife, Beck was disappointed he missed the Leno appearance, as did (apparently) Whipped Flea.
