Does anyone know roughly how many albums the Carpenters have sold, broken down by album?

Is Christmas Portrait one of the biggest sellers, in the long run?

Would be interesting if anyone had a rough idea about the sales figures

According to the certifications of everybody's favorite organization, the RIAA: :D

A Kind of Hush: Gold, 07/14/1976
Voice of the Heart: Gold, 07/24/1998
An Old Fashioned Christmas: Gold, 08/11/1998
Love Songs: Gold, 06/12/2000
Gold: Gold, 12/17/2004
Horizon: Platinum, 04/16/1998
Christmas Portrait: Platinum, 04/16/1998
Close to You: 2x Platinum, 04/16/1998
Now & Then: 2x Platinum, 04/16/1998
Yesterday Once More: 2x Platinum, 04/16/1998
A Song for You: 3x Platinum, 04/16/1998
Carpenters: 4x Platinum, 04/16/1998
The Singles 1969-1973: 7x Platinum, 04/16/1998

The remaining albums... PASSAGE- 400,000(as of 1992)
MADE IN AMERICA-500,000(as of 1992)
LOVELINES-250,000(as of 1992)
TICKET TO RIDE- ?????

Also,A KIND OF HUSH sold approximately a million copies to date.It was certified GOLD in 1976,and has sold another 500,000 copies in the 30 years since, making that album a candidate for platinum status.VOICE OF THE HEART was certified gold in 1998,but has actually sold closer to a million copies, also.MADE IN AMERICA sold approximately 500,000,enough for GOLD status.
one of the main issues with cumulative sales over several years is that sometimes record labels don't keep track of all the sales reciepts for an album over so many years.consequently, many albums that would qualify for gold or platinum status don't get certified due to the fact that the labels just don't always keep track of cumulative sales figures.
