Every now and again I'm reminded of a record that stands out as a piece of ear candy and have to give it another listen or two.
Released in July 1964, when the songwriting was great and records were organic, “It Hurts to Be in Love” peaked at No.7 on both Billboard and Cash Box, also peaking on Record World at No. 6. Although it was released before my time, it remains one of my all-time favorite records from that era!
