Interestingly, WITHOUT HER isn't the first song by Harry Nilsson that Herb sang...back in '63 or so, he did I'D DO IT ALL AGAIN.

That is something I had not heard!

The song has an almost Righteous Brothers feel to it...Herb sings and plays trumpet...Julius does the vibes thing...if it had been released in '65 or so, it might have really made it big, but Herb had the Brass going strong by then, and didn't need the extra exposure...
