I'm in the Washington, DC area.
Thanks.

Well, darn. THe marimba player lives in San Diego. And so do I! (Yes, I play marimba -- but not real well)...

Tijuana Turkey (or in Spanish:) Pavo

The Red-Hot Llamas

I'm sure we'll think of more...

Name: HaverStocks and the Tia-Washington Brass should be a good name, given your location

How about The Black Sombrero Brass?

...we got some black sombreros on eBay to kinda put around the stage for decoration, and to wear occasionally (a la Bob Edmonson), and possibly use as props when we're having fun with audience members (like asking for volunteers to play the taxi horn or sleigh bells or maracas: we'd give them a sombrero to wear while they're on stage)... also, we think the name sounds a little bit fun but also fancy and dignified in a Mexican sort of way... and, all the obvious names with "Tijuana" in them were already taken in the 60s by the scads of tribute bands at that time.

What do y'all think? I'm hoping you don't come up with something better because, as I say, we already bought the black sombreros!!

Maybe naming your Tribute Group after a TjB song or an album might be a good idea:

Green Peppers

Going Places

Beat Of The Brass

...More?--Ahhh, THERE'S ONE!!!
