Sometimes I feel like a freak because I appreciate Karen as an amazing singer, but equally I admire her as a person. She was just an honest, hardworking, loyal person. Such a profound loss. I wish there was a way to turn back time. I would have loved to see her get to have kids and the "cottage in Connecticut" and station wagon with the wood on the sides.
I think Karen knew she was a good singer, but I wonder if she ever felt pretty or witty.
Also, why couldn't she have married Mike Curb? I think he was truly the man she needed. Lt Governor? Could you imagine Karen as First Lady?
