Japanese magazine Record Collectors published special from '90s archives. Carpenters were included in West Coast Sound special with bands what they call west coast sound. They explain that Carpenters are group that brought about original sound at West Coast.

There was A&M ad in '90s. This time no ad for Carpenters.
Karen's solo, Richard's PACC album and "as time goes by" were added.
In color page some were added, Battle of the Band record jacket with Wes, Richard and Karen's photo, Karen's Magic Lamp single label for both sides, promo singles picture sleeves.

Those who recognize the right above photo have good eyes! That is "Now & Then". The back cover has Karen & Richard's '90s magazine cover photo.
Carpenters related people were written about.
But no new information about them nor DVD's by Carpenters.
It would be nice if Burt Bacharach's and Herb Alpert's albums were mentioned or if Bacharach's live in Japan next month was mentioned or his Grammy just before it.
I wish Karen is recognized with her vocal, Carpenters sound in the U.S.
