Just in case you didn't see the other "Sergio Coming East" subject post. Sergio will be at the Blue Note/New York February 7th thru February 12th, 2005.

Mr Bill said:wondering if the ad copy was a typo and it's really just $50
HiFiEER said:...it would be nice if Kevyn flys out too...as a Special Surprise Guest Artist on Sergio's Birthday...
MasterLcZ said:...I've been fortunate both to have seen him several times in a week and to have Jon "BrasilNut' with me on one of those memorable occasions...
Mr Bill said:Capt. Bacardi should be able to swing that easily with his postman holiday tips!
Captain Bacardi said:I missed Sergio the last time at One World Theater because I had the flu. Sergio was originally slated to open the OWT a few years ago, but had to cancel when the theter wasn't ready. The tix were $150 then. $500? I'm afraid I'll have to pass on that. Now if it were Sergio and Herb's bands playing, I'd reconsider. I do have a friend who is a volunteer usher there, and sometimes she can score me a free ticket. I'll have to check with her.
BTW, the One World Theater is an oustanding place to hear music. I've sat in a lot of seats there and was never disappointed.
Capt. Bacardi
I might pay $500 to see Herb, but not Sergio.
