Squeeze was performing on "Saturday Night Live" in December of 1982. They performed "Pulling Mussels (From The Shell) & "Annie Get Your Gun". A very young Drew Barrymore was the host!! Matt Clark Sanford, MI

That SNL performance of theirs is great! Definitely worth tracking down a copy of for any of you Squeeze fans out there who've never seen it.

This one is easily one of my favorite greatest-hits packages of all-time, and still shockingly the band's best compilation to date. The tracks are all very well-chosen, with no clunkers in the bunch and no particularly egregious omissions (which you can't say about any of their later compilations, every last one of which somehow manage to exclude the 1987 Top 40 hit "853-5937" - one of only two Top 40 hits they ever had in America - for some bizarre reason. I've never been able to figure that one out.) Even the one new cut - "Annie Get Your Gun" - is every bit as excellent as any of the older cuts, which is not something you can usually say about new material that's tacked on to hits packages.

Cool For Cats is a great album--it feautures enough of their trademark humor and wit, and catchy hooks, to make it a great listen all the way through. Nice to see a couple of tracks on this compilation.
