They couldn’t duplicate the awesome studio sound or harmonies live. They could with modern technology we have now, just play a loop with background vocals coming through the mixing board. I’ve seen it done, especially with 80’s synth groups. It probably would be cheesy in Richard’s mind though.
 
Truth is, they didn't need the live harmonies as much as you'd think. Karen and Richard's voices alone were strong and confident and convincing in concert.
 
Only great Billboards in Los Angeles. The big one facing Sunset Blvd next to the A&M Studios always had a fresh album cover of a new A&M release on it.

This is a great example of a billboard advert that was up in Los Angeles in 1978...anyone got an idea exactly where this was in LA?

That’s by the natural food restaurant on the Sunset Strip called the Aware Inn. There are several billboards on the strip between Hollywood and Beverly Hills. They usually advertise a new album or new movie. And self promoters like Angelyne.
