Amazon delivery time

Does Amazon generally ship items on the release date, or do they ship them a day or 2 early in anticipation of delivery on release date. Since most releases are on Tuesday, does Amazon ship on Tuesday,or possibly the weekend before?

I'm excited about the upcoming trifecta.

They ship on Friday or Saturday before the release date, sometimes at least. Probably depends somewhat on when they receive stock.

I've seen both cases--I've had items ship on release date, and I have also had others ship early, to where the titles may actually have arrived on a Saturday or Monday before release date. As a rule I think that if they do ship ahead, they try to time it so you have it on release date.

Excited about the trifecta myself.
