FAIRPORT CONVENTION
Liege & Lief
A&M SP 4257
LIEGE & LIEF, which many say contains the best incarnation of Fairport Convention's many personnel configurations, holds an important distinction. Since its 1970 U.S. release, the album has been in print continuously as either SP or CD 4257. Amazing, considering it was not in the Billboard Top 200. Its unique mixture of traditional Celtic folk with psychedlic rock accounts for its enduring influence.

Side Two: The Deserter 4:10/ Medley: The Lark in the Morning; Rakish Paddy; Fox-Hunter's Jig; Toss the Feathers 4:00/ Tam Lin 7:20/ Crazy Man Michael 4:35.
