A truly magical live performance of the Bacharach/David Medley. I find it puzzling that Richard & Karen decided to lip sync this song for their "live" performance at the BBC in 1971. They were so good at replicating this song live, they just did not need to pretend to be singing.
Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful video! It should be required viewing/listening for anyone who doesn't realize not only what a wonderful singer Karen was, but what a wonderful drummer she was ... and how she could do both flawlessly.
I love this Bacharach medley clip. Although it is in B&W, it is more complete than some of the other versions out there and really captures the band dynamic at its best. Karen's singing and drumming are first rate. God I love her.
