Get ready skate & music fans-Burt Bacharach will be celebrated with a two-hour NBC special Dec.20. According to www.billboard.com,stars like Brain Boitano will skate to live performances of Bacharach tunes from stars like Aretha Franklin. Burt will mosey up to the mike to sing "Alfie". The show will tape Sept.20-yes,in San Jose. Maybe they can get some NHL players to skate 'n bash while "What the World Needs Now Is Love" plays in the background.Mac
