The death of composer Bart Howard at 88 was reported in today's paper. His best known tune is "Fly Me to The Moon," a Sinatra standard. A&M artists Chris Montez and the Sandpipers also covered it, as well as numerous artists on other labels.

Oh, yes, I heard it on the radio yesterday that Bart Howard passed away.

Don't forget The Sandpipers recorded "Fly Me To The Moon" in SPANISH and Chris Montez recorded it in ENGLISH! And Wes Montgomery also covered it as an instrumental.

Peggy Lee was actually the first one to record it, too; Before Frank Sinatra, who made it famous.
