BILLBOARD vs. CASHBOX

I was doing a little research of the Cashbox pop singles charts online and it's interesting to note that Herb Alpert had the same number of Top 40 hits on both the Billboard and Cashbox charts (19) but they weren't all the same hits. In Billboard, "Tijuana Taxi", "Wade In The Water", and "Rotation" were Top 40 hits, but not in Cashbox. On the other hand, "To Wait For Love", "My Favorite Things", and "Without Her" made the Cashbox Top 40 but fell short in Billboard. "Mexican Drummer Man", "Magic Man", "Garden Party", "Red Hot", and "Bullish" all hit the Billboard chart, but not the Cashbox. I wasn't able to tell if any of Herb's singles hit Cashbox without hitting Billboard, but I'd be interested to know.
Singles that did better in Cashbox than in Billboard:
"Marching Thru Madrid" #90CB/#96BB
"A Taste Of Honey" #1CB/#7BB
"Zorba The Greek" #8CB/#11BB
"Spanish Flea" #21CB/#27BB
"Flamingo" #24CB/#28BB
"Mame" #17CB/#19BB
"Casino Royale" #22CB/#27BB
"A Banda" #32CB/#35BB
"To Wait For Love" #39CB/#51BB
"My Favorite Things" #35CB/#45BB
"Zazueira" #74CB/#78BB
"Without Her" #38CB/#63BB
"Last Tango In Paris" #70CB/#77BB
"Fox Hunt" #70CB/#84BB
"Route 101" #30CB/#37BB

I do see, however, that "This Guy's In Love With You" topped both the Billboard and Cash Box charts -- and that within all of the above, Richard Harris's "MacArthur Park" was relegated to #2 as a result. (However, unlike in Billboard, there was a speed bump in Cash Box between Mr. Alpert's vocal #1 and the Hugh Masekela single "Grazin' In The Grass," in the form of The Rolling Stones' "Jumpin' Jack Flash" -- another tune that didn't quite make the top o' the charts in Billboard.)
