The best BR album ever. The excitement in the club makes for a great recording. Long live the world's greatest drummer!

One of my favorite Buddy Rich albums. This band really swings. Some of the arrangements have a bit of that tacky 60's feel, such as "Wack Wack". And I definitely do not care for Buddy's daughter - Cathy - singing that awful "Beat Goes On". The title track is pure excitement, easily the best track on the album, with "Love For Sale", "Mexicali Nose" and "Willowcrest" following. The bonus tracks are pretty good as well, especially "Standing In A Hammock" and "Silver Threads Among The Blues". This is a typical Buddy band - high flying horns, very few ballads and swing, swing, swing. Definitely a good place to start out for anyone who wants to experience Buddy Rich.
