Carpenters Specials on DVD

Are any of the ABC Carpenters specials on DVD yet? I would love to see them again. I remember the First Special/Space Encounter w/ Suzanne Somers/Music Music Music and the Christmas special.

They do apperar on the DVD Travelling Sunshine Show hosted by the 5th Dimension.

None of the full TV specials are available in any home format. Richard has been quoted as saying that some of the things done in the specials were corny and embarassing, plus he's had some bad feelings between himself and ABC, who owns the rights.

That said, there are some musical numbers from the specials that have been put into the official DVD releases of GOLD and INTERPRETATIONS.

I guess that makes sense. Some of those variety specials were pretty corny in their comedy-sketches material. The one that I found pretty decent was the Tony Orlando and Dawn Show. The material was pretty good and well done. I just bought it from R2 Entertainment. I can't remember the Carpenters sketches.
