A few weeks ago someone started a thread here about a Carpenters t-shirt they'd seen in England someplace. It got me to thinking how cool, in a retro kind of way, it would be to wear something with the C's logo on it. Yesterday as I walking around I passed a copy center that had an advertisement in their window saying that they could make customized t-shirts with a photo or artwork that you supplied. Hmmm, the thought had never occurred to me before. I happened to have the C's Gold CD in my backpack so I took it in, they scanned the cover and a few hours later I was walking around Greenwich Village with a brand-spanking new Carpenters t-shirt. I have to say I think it looks pretty darn good.
