Carpenters TOP OF THE WORLD with 1996 Richard Video

I know this might be old news, but I just saw the 1996 Video of TOP OF THE WORLD (MAGICAL CARPENTERS CHRISTMAS- as a gift to Japanese fans) from Rand's Road Ode Site. It replaces the "1976 Richard" with a "1996 Richard" performing the song with Karen. It's touching and cool, but a little haunting. That's funny, I just watched that one today myself. I was not aware of that video having ever been made.

It reminds me a lot of that deal Richard did to promote PACC back in '97, where the screens came down and he played and sang back-up to a remixed Carpenters track with Karen singing overhead. Let me tell you, there wasn't a dry eye in the house that night. This video is reminiscent of that. -Chris
