Carpenters/Trail Of Dead - Similar Artwork

I got an IGA newsletter in e-mail and it showed a picture of the new Trail of Dead album. I thought the logo looked sorta familiar and it hit me that it resembled the famous CarpenterS logo. I looked a little closer and even the background reminds me of the 1992 CD Original Master Karaoke.

Just thought I would share my observations...
