Although this song is not on this AOTW this is a cool video of this band playing in Belgium. The tune is "Manhattan Carousel". It's neat seeing Keith Jarrett this young.

This is a pretty impressive album. I'd not heard this in a while. Jack DeJohnette is a beast on drums on this album! The "Autumn Sequence" is a nice variety of styles highlighted by a swinging version of "Autumn Leaves". The killer tune here is "Bird Flight", which has Charles Lloyd all over the place on tenor. Gotta love his quote of Bird & Dizzy's "Hot House" in the middle of his solo. Lloyd can also have a charming sound like he does on the ballad "Love Ship". I remember hearing "Sombrero Sam" on the radio a few times over the years. It has a definite 60's groove to it. Great album to pick up!
