Steve is going to be recutting that classic "Charlie Brown Christmas" album at 45RPM (might be a 2-LP set...?) for release in 2006. It's interesting because the existing CD versions out there now have been using a deteriorating master tape. After having someone at Fantasy do some serious digging in the vault, they found the masters to cut this album with. This will probably sound better than any release of this album in the past--as Steve mentions, a lot of times the original two-track masters are filed away and marked "DO NOT USE", and a "production master" is made to do all the LP and tape copies with.
