When I bought the album of Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Creedence Gold" back in the Summer of 1985, there was a remix version of the song "Bad Moon Rising". Singer John Fogerty sings like an echo type version & the guitar is different during the instrumental break of the song. I think I might have to go to: www.fantasyjazz.com & find out why there was no remix version on the BOX SET that came out in 2001 (6 CD's) in a wooden box. The CD version of "Creedence Gold" from 1972 has the original version of "Bad Moon Rising". When I bought the BOX SET, it also contains the MONO version of "Proud Mary" as well as "Penthouse Pauper" & "The Working Man" is also in MONO. Matt

I only have the first Chronicle compilation. I wasn't aware there were two versions of "Bad Moon Rising". I wonder if it was a remix done for a newer compilation, like some labels are fond of doing. Or....could it have been a stereo vs. a mono mix?
