0129191554-1.jpg,Paul Whaley, drummer for early heavy metal pioneering band Blue Cheer, died on 1/28/2019 at age 73 of a heart attack in his sleep. Born 1-14-1946. In Nov. 2006 they played at The Earl in Atlanta, GA. Dickey Peterson (guitar & vocals) passed away in 2009. A tribute video was posted:

^^Tragic!! He possessed a beautiful deep strong male lead vocal. I've suggested him in the Carpenters forum thread as a possible duet partner for Karen in retrospect. Really sad news. RIP

My favorite James Ingram performance was when he was the soloist with John Williams and the Boston Pops Orchestra. Listen to "America, The Dream Goes On."
