Madonna: "Angel" b/w "Into the Groove" (Sire Records 0-20335)

This is one of those cases where I 1) don't really care for the artist (way too "pop" for my taste) and 2) bought the single for the B-side, which is actually a decent track. It's ironic I don't care for the album, too, as I'm a big fan of Nile Rodgers...

My only copy of "Into The Groove" is on that IMMACULATE COLLECTION CD that's got that Q-Sound processing. It's not as bad as CSG, but it's still leaves a messy sound field. And the track is remixed on that disc, as all of the tracks are.

I only ever had one Q-Sound CD, and that was Sting's The Soul Cages. Too weird to be enjoyable. (And that includes the Q-Sound. 😁)

Paula Abdul "Spellbound" from 1991 also had the "Q" sound. Also Julian Lennon "Help Yourself" from 1991.
