Today, I was just driving down the road with the Essential Collection Disc 1 in the player. I listened to the Love is Surrender and then I let it segue into Maybe It's You.
I noticed something different. I thought I heard the 1987 remixed piano intro segue into the 1990 remixed piano. I reversed it and played it again and sure enough, I head correctly. I had my first copy of the Essential Collection from Dec. 2002 but it got lost. I got a new one for Christmas this year. The reason I mentioned this is because I don't remember the 1987 piano segue.
Why would Richard segue the old piano into the new piano? I thought it might be some kind of "carry over" from From the Top, but I referred to it and it has the full 1990 remix contained in the same track.
Anyone else ever notice this?
