Muriel's Wedding - Original Soundtrack

Has anyone seen this movie? I saw only the last 15 mins on cable the other day but noticed there was a Carpenters track listed on the official soundtrack.

If someone has seen this entire movie, Is this Carpenters song actually played in the movie? or is it just on the soundtrack?

If it's played in the movie how is it shown? Richard would have to have approved this for the movie right?

I saw the movie ONLY to hear WOJB, but sad to say, I didn't hear it at all. I could have missed it, but I never heard a note of Karen singing. So I am not sure why its on the soundtrack at all.

I have Muriel's Wedding on DVD and WOJB doesn't appear at any time during the movie. Seems I've heard this somewhere before tho...hmmm ...It's a fun movie w/alot of ABBA music thru-out.

WOJB was not in the movie. I think the song was "in the mood of" the songs from the move, as a few others on the CD were. I believe I read that inside the liner notes that I saw one day while visiting a friend who had it at the time.
