    Friend Jim Pierson has completed yet another special: "PERRY COMO CLASSICS: TILL THE END OF TIME" which debuts this weekend on PBS, with appearances from Richard Carpenter, Jay Leno, Carol Burnett and others! Here is the latest press release:

    ^^Caught this program last night.
    It was quite enjoyable.
    Well done.
    I could not help but wonder why Carpenters have not received this type of treatment.
    Yes, we have the re-imagined Close To You, but I would like to view an entirely new creation.
    Also, kept imagining Karen singing those Como songs !

    ^^Yes! We got a small sampling on the Karen/Perry medley. Oh, for a full version of It's Impossible by Karen, would be heaven on earth!

  4. Caught the last 1/3 of this and saw Richard once give comment. Going to try and catch the whole show to see if there is more from Richard. On that note, the same thing happened with a similar program around Les Paul. Caught Richard giving comment, but only saw the last 1/3 of the program.
